Dr. Sandy Elias

Associate Dentist

Dr. Elias graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India in 2012. While in dental school, Dr. Elias took part in various research projects in preventive and community dentistry. After completing his one-year residency in Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, he worked as a clinical instructor in Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital. Thereafter, he worked as an Associate Dentist at a private Dental Implant Centre in Kerala. In 2015, Dr. Elias immigrated to Canada and pursued an Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene.

After graduation, Dr. Elias practiced Dental Hygiene in a private dental practice in Toronto, while pursuing his Canadian National Dental Examination Board (NDEB) Certification. He successfully completed his NDEB Certification in 2020 and is a fellow member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA).

Dr. Elias is a general dentist with more than 5 years of experience in the field of dentistry including 3 years of Canadian experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. He is known for his gentle and compassionate approach to his patients, always keeping their best interests in mind. He is passionate about dentistry, and his patients, and enjoys working with people of all ages. He regularly attends various continuing dental education seminars and clinical training to be up to date in his profession.

Dr. Elias recently moved to Cornwall to serve the patients of Seaway Family Dental and the community at large in every way possible. He loves nature and enjoys the outdoors. In his free time, he likes to read, workout, play badminton, cook, be creative, learn new skills and spend time with his family.
